The recipe for tomato cream with peppers is very easy to prepare. It doesn’t take long and the result is great. The intense taste of garlic gives it a special flavor. This soup can be eaten casually at any time and is only good for fasting.
30 ml of olive oil
2 kg of tomatoes
1 piece of celery
1 clove of garlic
3 bay leaves
1 tablespoon of honey
Method of preparation
Place the cherry tomatoes on the hot grill and cook them, turning them on all sides, for 5 minutes, until they peel easily. Clean the tomatoes and remove the woody part with the tip of a knife. Place in a suitable pan and cover with water, season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with bay leaves. Meanwhile, clean, wash and finely chop the vegetables, crush the garlic. Heat the oil in a saucepan and add all the vegetables at once, browning until soft, over low heat. Pour in 200 ml of water and continue boiling for about 10 minutes. Mix the tomatoes with the cooked vegetables, add a spoonful of honey and season with salt and pepper to taste. Boil the soup until the vegetables have the desired consistency. Blend everything with a blender until you get a thick puree. Serve hot, with croutons and a sprinkling of basil or green parsley. Enjoy your meal!
